MOLISE is a small region situated in central Italy, south of Abruzzo.
In the western part against the Adriatic sea you find the Appeninians, otherwise
the landscape has mostly forests and olive groves. The winters in Molise
are relatively harsh with the exception of the coast that has a milder climate.
The provinces of the region are Campobasso and Isernia that are famous for
their carpets, forging, iron, copper and ceramics.
