				PUGLIA is situated in the south western part of Italy and is split into four zones; the mountain cape of Gargano, the plain of Tavoliere, the plateau of Murges and the peninsula Salento – plain that stretches southwards between the Adriatic and the Ionian sea and this forms the italian bootheel. The climate is mild and wine- and olive cultivations are common. The beaches, that are considered to be the cleanest ones in Italy, are beautiful and very special with their caves, lagoons and coast cities like the main city Bari, Peschici, Vieste, Gallipoli, Rodi Garganico and Brindisi all offer the conveniences to make the tourists feel welcome. There are also smaller beautiful localities on the countryside like Ostuni – also known as the white city, Locorotondi with its famous wines and Grottagli with its famous ceramics.
