VAL GARDENA
Skiing in beautiful surroundings and in 4 different lift systems belonging to Dolomiti Superski


VAL GARDENA- a winter wonderland in the souther tyrolean. A different world, but still so easy to reach! Val Gardena consists of three genuin and beautiful villages. Ortisei (1236 m) is the main village of Val Gardena, and is also considered to be the cultural centra of the valley. It is a village filled with traditions and a wonderful atmosphere.
The local mountains Seceda and the Siusi-Alp is the eldorado of lenght skiers.
S.Christina (1428 m) is the smallest village, and it is situated on the sunny side of the valley. S.Christina is the perfect vacation village for those who love the mountains and the nature, and for those who appreciate a peaceful vacation.
Selva Gardena (1563 m) is the entrance between Val Gardena and Sella Ronda. Between these two villages you easily go with the local ski buses or the lift system that connects them.
Val Gardena has something for everybody, child slopes and black slopes for snowboarders, telemarkers and regular skiers. When it comes to the lift system or the artificial snowmachines old tyrolean style is combined with high tech. The skiing reaches from the height of the village, all the way up to 3000 m. You can’t forget that Val Gardena is a part of Sella Ronda together with Val di Fassa, Alta Badia and Arabba. For this challenge you need the Dolomiti Superski liftcard, which gives you the opportunity to try out eight more ski areas. Dolomiti Superski- 1180 km slopes and 464 lifts. Val Gardena is not only about winter sports. In Selva there are tenniscourts, a bowling alley, and in Ortisei there is a swimmingpool (25 m), and squash courts. In one of the many cosy restaurants you can try some austrian and italian courses in different price classes. At the end of the evening you can visit one of the nightclubs, choose between live music or mighty disco music!

RESORT INFORMATION VAL GARDENA
LOCATION: Northeastern Italy, the Alto-Adige region, ca 40 km from Bolzano, 120 km from Innsbruck, ca. 300 km from Milan. SLOPES: Val Gardena: ca 170 km pisted slopes (90 km served by artificial snow machines), a lot of offpist. A part of Dolomiti Superski. LIFTS: Val Gardena: 74 lifts with a total capacity ofca. 50.000 pers/h. SKI BUS: Yes. Regular connections between the villages of Val Gardena. CROSS COUNTRY SKIING: ca. 98 km prepared lenght tracks. SKI SCHOOL: Val Gardena has one of the best ski schools ins Italy, with education in many different languages SKI RENTAL: On location: slalom and lenght skies, boots, staffs, snowboards. OTHER SPORT POSSIBILITIES: Ice skating, tennis and a bowling alley in Selva, swimming and squash in Ortisei. ENTERTAINMENT: restaurants, pubs, cafées, pizzeriasr, discotheques . HOTELS and APARTMENTS in VAL GARDENA

RESIDENCE LORES
Residence Lores is in central Selva Gardena, about 500 m from the lifts and the center of the village. Residence Lores is a cosy apartment hotel with comfortable, fully equipped apartments (2-3-4-6 beds).
All apartments have ensuite bathrooms, telephone, TV. There is also a sauna, a UV-solarium, laundry service, garage and parking space. Swimmingpool availible at Residence Antares.

RESIDENCE ANTARES

Located in the center of Selva Gardena ( 150 m from the Ciampioni lift). Inside the residence: a swimming pool with cascade; gym; in the modern wellness centre: sauna, solarium, turkish bath, strengthening showers; playroom with table tennis and videogames, internet hot Spot WiFi; american bar; ski room, laundrette, garage and parking. A la carte restaurant, with salad buffet; rich breakfast buffet. The pleasant apartments, in great part with balcony, are completely furnishes and equipped with all comfort: bathtub or shower, kitchenette or kitchen corner, tv color, directed dial telephone, bed and bath linen are supplied. There is also a tv-room, sauna and possibility to have a garage against payment.


HOTEL ANTARES ****
Located in the center of Selva Gardena ( 150 m from the Ciampioni lift). Building with elevator, restaurant, bar, swimmingpool, play room with table tennis. 55 rooms, all with bathrooms, telephone, satellite-TV. Most of the rooms have mini-bars, safety box and balconies.There is also sauna, UV-solarium and garage against payment.

HOTEL STETTENECK ***
Hotel Stetteneck is located on the Piazza of Ortisei, the heart-town of Val Gardena's Dolomites, one of the most beautiful set-ups of the Alps. I Next to the Hotel Stetteneck you will find the skischool, the skirental and the mountain guide. The connecting lifts to the Sella Ronda, the swimmingpool with sauna, the shops and cafés, all you need is in a short walking distance. Bus stop outside the hotel. The hotel has 25 rooms, all with  ensuite bathrooms with hairdryer, telephone, color TV, WLAN internet access, minibar and safety box. The rooms have a nice view and a lift serves accommodation on all floors. Restaurant and bar.

HOTEL RODES ***+
Hotel Rodes is the ideal solution if you are looking for a three stars hotel in Ortisei. 800 m from the center and 600 m from lifts. The hotel has 38 rooms, all with bathrooms, hairdryer, telephone, sat-TV and some with balcony. There is an elevator, TV-room, swimmingpool, UV-solarium, restaurant conference room and a bar.
