To visit in Buda The Buda-part has the the largest green surroundings and many famous places for excursions. The Hill of János, The Hill of Széchenyi, the Big and the Small Hill of Hars, the Remetehill and the Harmashatar Mountain were once a natural defence of the city. Among many tourist attractions we can mention the grave of Gul Baba on the Rosehill, a place for muslim pilgrims and the Királybath with its dome-roof, thermal pools and steambaths. To visit in Pest The elegant shoppingblock, Vácigatan, Petöfi Sandorstreet and the Vörösmarty-square are situated in the original core of the city. Here you will even find the Parliament, the biggest building of the country. The State Opera (1875-1884), the Basilica of St.Stefan, the Congregational Church of the inner part of the city, the Big Synagogue on Dohany-street med the Jewish Museum, the Industrial Art Museum, the Servita square, the Wekerle residential area (in the XIX district), an experiment in Jugend style, with uniform familyresidences and gardens. Guided tour in Budapest A 4 hour long citytour med visits to the Kossuth square, the Parliament, the Basilica of St.Stefan, the State Opera, the Square of the Heroes, the Art Museum, the Art Gallery, the Vajdahunyad Caste, the Zoo, the citadel. Possible even as an entire daytour with visits at the National Gallery and the Castle area. Boat-trip on the Donau With a one hour long filmshow where it is possible to admire the enlightened buildings of Budapest. As you initially pass the palaces of the Donau beach the film gives you information about what you see from the boat (translated into 12 different languages). Horseshow in Tök Welcome-drink in the wine-cellar Patko Inn in Tök. Horseshow, demonstrations from the grooms, possibility to go horsebackriding or horse-drawn carriage (even sledge in wintertime). Dinner with wine tasting and gypsy music. This tour can be organized all year around. Bus to Lake Balaton A day trip to the northern part of Lake Balaton. Visits to the well known monasteri in Tihany. Possibility to take a bath after lunch. On the way back there will be wine tasting of the local wines in a romantic restaurant in the wine district of Balaton. This trip can be organized all year around.
