Capo Vaticano - located at the calabrian coast close to Tropea. Known for its 12km long, clean sandy beaches and the natural mediteranian beauty with caves and a amazing history. This makes it a very interesting place to visit with all the remainings from the medieval, castles and fortresses. On the beach you can also look at the medieval defending towers Rochetta and Sant’Irene and medieval caves, the most famous is Grotte delle Fate (The grottos of Fairys). At a higher point you find the old part that preserves remainigs from antique walls. Here there is a lot of history, art, museums and folk lorian fest traditions here.The sandy beaches are long and beautiful with crystal clear water. Tropea - Located at the sea rising on a cliff, it is called the pearl of the mediteranian since there is both art, history and wonderful nature. People have been living here since the pre-historics as it at first was a greek city that later on became roman. In the historical centre you can take a nice walk on the characteristic narrow streets and visit the famous cathedral that is preserved since the medieval ages.
