Click to enlarge Montecatini Terme			MONTECATINI is a very peaceful city with beautiful buildings, located between Florence (46 km) and Pisa (54 km), 33 km from Lucca. Montecatini is famous for its termal baths, mineral water springs and the great possibilities to try out different sports like golf, horseback riding, swimming and tennis. The city is surrounded by a green and flowering countryside, but there is also a theatre, a cinema, bars, restaurants and night clubs. Montecatini Terme is the newer, more modern part of the city and Montecatini Alto is the original city, located a couple of hundreds of meters above Terme. A tram connects the two parts and from Alto you have a stunning view over the landscape. A perfect starting point for excursions in Tuscany!
