	Masiv Retezat Stana de Vale Click to enlarge			Mountain peaks of lime stone, shaped by nature, spectacular caves and a landscape with an amazing light. “Motii”, the romanians that live in the area, still keep their old traditions alive, although there is such a fast development. Stana de Vale - village situated at a height of 1102m in the Piatra Craiului- massif, 25km from Beius, 535km from Bucharest, 300km from Timisoara. Every year, since 1882, this village organizes a folklorian party for the tourists in the area. You can easily follow the marked walking tracks, and in that way admire the beautiful valleys next to the rivers Iad and Dragan, the waterfalls in Moara Dracului and the caves on the Pades-height. Places to visit: The Bearcaves and the caves in Medias; The cities Beius and Oradea. Semenic - village situated at a height of 1400m, on the top of the Banat-massif. 35 km from Resita, 532km from Bucharest, 130 km from Timisoara. Walking tracks that pass Baia Vulturilor, Piatra Nedeii, the caves in Comarnic, Popovat and Caras Gorges. Places to visit: The weather station in Trei Ape, Crivaia, the vacation village Garâna, Resita.
